The Pioneers will be playing their fourth match in five days and snapped a five-game skid with a win over Arkansas-Monticello Saturday. Sophomore setter
Katy Ranes leads the Lone Star Conference in assists per set (10.85), and sophomore defensive specialist
Bailey French is tops in digs/set (4.94). Senior middle blocker
Haley Collins is number four in blocks/set (1.12), senior outside hitter
Miri Shade is fifth in kills/set (3.08), and sophomore middle blocker
Caroline Noel stands eighth in hitting percentage (.286).
With five matches remaining in the regular season, the Pioneers are tied with Eastern New Mexico for the eighth and final spot in the Lone Star Conference Tournament. TWU currently sits one win ahead of Midwestern State and one game behind Texas A&M-Kingsville.

Courtney Noel totaled a team-high 10 kills for Texas Woman's University, but the Pioneers fell in straight sets to Midwestern State Friday night inside D.L. Ligon Coliseum.
TWU (4-9, 2-3 LSC) was outhit .104 to .286 by the Mustangs (8-6, 3-3 LSC) in the three-set loss (25-18, 25-19, 25-19).
Miri Shade added seven kills,
Katy Ranes registered 33 assists, and
Bailey French handled a game-high 14 digs.
