DENTON, Texas (Dec. 14, 2023) – Yesterday marked one month until the Texas Woman's gymnastics team begins their 2024 season. With the season on the horizon, TWU wants you to be a part of every historical, amazing moment of the 2024 season.

On Thursday, the Pioneers released their 2024 home single meet tickets. General admission for single meets will be $10. Kindergarten through 12th grade students, college students from another institution and anyone 60 years older and above can purchase a general admission ticket for $8. TWU will host five regular season meets at home in Kitty Magee Arena throughout the 2024 season. 

For their home opening meet on Jan. 27 at 6 p.m., the Pioneers will welcome fellow Midwest Independent Conference opponent and reigning USA Gymnastics National Champion Lindenwood. The home opener will also be Alumni Weekend for the Pioneers.

Then, on Feb. 3 at 6 p.m., TWU will welcome Missouri for the first time to KMA. The two back-to-back meets represent the only back-to-back home weekends in KMA. During the meet against Missouri, TWU will partner with the Housing department to host Pack the House, where TWU students will have the opportunity to win a $500 housing scholarship. The meet will also be a celebration of Black History Month.

After being on the road, the Pioneers will return home for a President's Day Meet on Monday, Feb. 19 at 2 p.m. The meet will be their first home Quad Meet of the season, featuring Arkansas, Arizona and Alabama. In partnership with the CARE office, the Pioneers will be hosting a Donation Drive. With the donation of a non-perishable item, fans can receive free admission – one item equals one free ticket. TWU will return home to KMA for a Tri-Meet on Sunday, March 3 at 2 p.m. against Oklahoma and Clemson. Prior to the meet, the Pioneers will honor TWU Faculty and Staff. Then, at the conclusion of the meet, TWU will host a free kid's clinic. 

The Pioneers will wrap up their 2024 home slate on Sunday, March 17 at 2 p.m. with a Quad Meet against Centenary, Michigan State and Rutgers. During this meet, TWU will honor their seniors.

All TWU students receive one ticket to all TWU Athletic home events, using an All-Sports Pass. Additionally, all TWU faculty receive four free tickets to all TWU Athletic home events to enjoy the game with their family. The faculty tickets will be accessible through the All-Sports Pass.

TWU Athletics has implemented a Clear Bag Policy at all athletic venues this year.

With a goal to provide a safe environment for our fans, employees, and all those in attendance at TWU Pioneer Athletic events, Texas Woman's Athletics has implemented new guidelines limiting the size and type of bag allowed into all of our indoor and outdoor venues during home athletic events.

Fans are permitted to enter the venues with only the following style and size of bag: clear bags or backpacks that are clear and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12", one gallon clear plastic freezer bag, or small clutch bags, with or without a handle or strap, no larger than 4.5" x 6.5".

Tickets for TWU Athletic events can only be purchased online. No cash will be accepted at the door for tickets.
