DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (April 11, 2024) – During their first day of competition at National Dance Alliance College Nationals, the Texas Woman's Pioneer Pride Dance Team advanced to the National Finals.

On Thursday, the Pioneers competed in the preliminary rounds of Division II Pom and Spirit Rally. The top five teams in the preliminary rounds advance to the final competition.

TWU competed in pom to start Thursday morning. They finished the day ranked third in Pom with a 91.2857 event score.

Then, the Pioneers competed in the Spirit Rally competition and also finished third with a 90.9 event score.

TWU will compete tomorrow in the finals of both Pom and Spirit Rally tomorrow. They will compete in Pom Finals at 12:33 p.m. CST. Then, they will compete in Spirit Rally Finals at 2:48 p.m. CST.
