Senior Jennifer Kingsbury has been selected as the Pioneer of the Week for the week of Saturday, Feb. 28 - Friday, Mar. 6, 2009. 

Kingsbury is deserving of the P.O.W. honor for her consistency both in and out of the gym.

"Every single day Jen shows her heart and love for the sport through her training and her actions," explained Kudlac. "That type of attitude is contagious and helps set a good example for all of our underclassmen."

Kudlac also appreciates the senior leadership that Kingsbury demonstrates on a daily basis.

"Jen is a fifth-year senior, so she knows how we do things here at TWU," he said. "She is the keeper of our traditions and makes sure they are followed and remembered."

Kingsbury also serves as the Pioneers' representative on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (S.A.A.C.). 

"Jen makes sure we are fulfilling all of our S.A.A.C. obligations as a team," Kudlac stated. "Her supervision in regards to S.A.A.C. events is invaluable to us as coaches."
