Sophomore Caroline Hilpisch has been selected as the Pioneer of the Week for the week of Saturday, Mar. 7 - Friday, Mar. 13, 2009.

According to head coach Frank Kudlac, Hilpisch was chosen as the P.O.W. because over the last month, she has established herself on two events, beam and floor. 

"Caroline has come all the way back from a serious knee injury last season to earn a spot in both our beam and floor lineups," said Kudlac. "She has proven over in our last couple of meets that she is capable of a consistent score on both events."
