Sophomore Sara Grunert has been selected as the Pioneer of the Week for the week of October 11-17.

"Sara has been working extremely hard all fall at her knee rehab, after having surgery during last season," said TWU assistant coach Lisa Bowerman.  "She never complains and is ready to do whatever is asked of her.  Last week she was able to get fitted for her brace and was released to do gymnastics again! We have never seen her beam with excitement the way she did the first day she was able to flip again!  She has jumped right back into her gymnastics as if she never had time off at all.  We are excited for her to get all of her skills back and to be ready to compete this season!"
