Freshman Spencer Jones has been selected as the Pioneer of the Week for the week of Nov. 21-27, 2011.

"Spencer is quickly becoming one of our most consistent athletes on all four events," said TWU head coach Lisa Bowerman. "She is continually improving both the quality and consistency of her skills through her strong work ethic and constant desire to be the best she can be.  It really stood out to us when we came back from Thanksgiving break and she was even better than when she left!  We know that every single day Spencer will give 100% in all aspects of her role as a student-athlete.  We know that Spencer has a great freshman year ahead for her!"
