2008: Was in the beam lineup for six regular season meets during her first year at TWU...best beam score of the season was a 9.725 on Feb. 23...won the beam title on Feb. 15 at West Chester...also competed once on bars and once on floor...an injury forced her to miss the final six weeks of the season.
PRIOR TO TWU : Competed for one season, 2006, at Oregon State University in Corvalis, Oregon.
CLUB/HIGH SCHOOL: Honed her gymnastics skills for 12 years (1993-2005) at the renowned Capital Gymnastics Club in Austin, Texas…was the first alternate for the 2005 USAG Level 10 National Championships… placed second in the all-around at the 2004 USAG Level 10 Texas State Championships…was the first alternate for the 2004 USAG Level 10 National Championships…in 2003, trained elite and advanced through the elite compulsories…won the bars event and placed third in the all-around at the 2002 USAG Level 9 Region III Championships…graduated in May 2005 from Georgetown (Texas) High School.
PERSONAL: An interdisciplinary studies major...the daughter of Bob and Annette Thomas...big fan of the Texas Longhorns football team...best gymnast she ever competed against was Courtney Kupets (Georgia)...her favorite band is Death Cab for Cutie...hobbies include spending time with her family and boyfriend.
