The 2010 season will be Kelly A. Featherston’s second season as the Pioneers’ Graduate Assistant Volleyball Coach.
Featherston played for four years in the Gulf South Conference at Arkansas Tech University (ATU). During her years at Tech, she was named All-Gulf South Conference honors in 2004 and 2005 and currently holds the school record for career double-doubles (63). Featherston also excelled in the classroom. She was honored as a 2005 All-Academic GSC student-athlete and the ATU female student-athlete of the year (2006).
Featherston, a native of Spring, Texas, completed her Bachelor of Science in psychology from ATU in 2006 and her Master of Science in sport & exercise psychology from Barry University (Miami, FL) in 2008. She is currently working on her Doctorate in Kinesiology with emphasis in Adapted Physical Activity at TWU.
Kelly lives in Argyle, TX with her husband Eric Featherston and their dog Jack.
