Junior pitcher Brandie Lander helped the Pioneers to 3-1 record last week and to their first ever Lone Star Conference title.  She posted a 1.88 ERA and struck out 21 batters in 22.1 innings in the Pioneers' four games played.  Lander started three of the team's four games last week and tossed two complete games.  For the season, she leads the Lone Star Conference in ERA (1.97) and is the Pioneers' team leader in wins (19) and strikeouts (134).
