Texas Woman's University Media Information and GuidelinesĀ
Thank you for your interest in covering Texas Woman's athletics. Below is a list of guidelines and procedures for media members to follow.Ā
MEDIA CREDENTIALS
Credential requests for home events must be made through the Texas Woman's Athletic Communications office. All credential requests must be sent 24 hours prior to the scheduled game time.Ā Credentials will be given at the game and media members will be requested to sign an acknowledgment of guidelines.Ā Please fill out the following form:

Non-credentialed personnel will not be permitted to obtain photographs, interviews or other media for personal or professional use.Ā
*Any working members of the media who would like to receive email press releases regarding Texas Woman's Athletics, may send an email to Assistant Athletic Director of Communications, Morgan Lair (mlair@twu.edu).Ā Please include your name, media affiliation, and all email addresses you would like to have releases sent to.
MEDIA GUIDELINES
Media wanting to interview Texas Woman's student-athletes, coaches or staff must contact the Athletics Communications Office, which will arrange the interview.
Interviews will be arranged around the student-athlete or coach's schedule, by the Athletic Communications office. At no time will a student-athlete's contact information be given out. Additionally, media are asked not to call, e-mail or contact players and coaches via phone, e-mail, through social networking websites.Ā
The Texas Woman's athletic logo will not be used, copied or reprinted without the signed and written consent of the Athletic Communications department.Ā
The Athletics Communications Office will do everything to respect the requests of the media and it is expected that the media respect the policies set forth by Texas Woman's Athletics.Ā
PHOTOGRAPHY: ACCEPTABLE USE, SALE OF AND RESTRICTIONS
All photographers/videographers must be granted permission from the Texas Woman'sĀ athletics communications office to photograph or videotape college athletic events from within restricted areas, specifically at field level, on sidelines, at courtside or on pool decks.
Photographers must adhere to sideline restrictions.Ā
Photographers and/or media members shooting images within restricted areas are not to enter the bench area.Ā Please remain 10 yards away from the benches and/or midfield substitution areas at all times so as to not interfere with the operation of the contest.

Photographers must remain a safe distance from the field/court/deck boundaries so as to not interfere with players, referees,Ā or other event staff.
Ā
Photographers are asked to not block the view of spectators.Ā
All photographs are the property of Texas Woman's Athletics and are to be used for the athletics department use only. Per NCAA regulations, photographs cannot be provided to any student-athlete unless considered to be a part of an approved athletic award. Do not contact Texas Woman's student-athletes directly in any manner regarding the sharing or distribution of athletic photos.Ā
Per NCAA rules, images may not be sold for commercial purposes without gaining written consent from the Texas Woman's Director of Athletics and by granting the college full use of all images captured.Ā
*Violation of any of the above guidelines will result in immediate dismissalĀ of the credential member and the credential will be permanently revoked.Ā
