TWU junior gymnast Margaret Mayfield has been named the 2013-2014 recipient of the Ruth E. “Betsy” Tandy Scholarship in Intercollegiate Athletics.  Mayfield, a mathematics major with a 3.878 cumulative GPA, helped the Pioneers to a second place finish at the 2013 USA Gymnastics Collegiate National Championships.  She competed on three events - vault, beam and floor - in every meet for the Pioneers this season and posted a season average of 9.636, 9.432 and 9.689 respectively.
