Senior middle blocker Chloe’ Tate recorded a team-high 39 kills and 14 total blocks to help the Pioneer volleyball team to a 3-1 record at the season-opening Hilltopper-Rattler Classic last weekend. The Denton Ryan High School product posted double-digit kills in two of the teams four games including a career-high 21 kills against St. Mary’s on Saturday. Tate also added 11 kills against St. Edward’s and six total blocks against #23 Adams State on Friday.
