Senior middle blocker Marcela Alves helped TWU to 2-0 record this past weekend (Sept. 27-29). She recorded 15 total blocks on defense and 16 kills on offense in the Pioneeers' two games played. Alves posted nine kills and eight block assists at Midwestern State and then added seven kills, six block assists and one solo block at Cameron. Alves now leads all TWU players with 59 total blocks (1.13 avg.) and she is second on the team with 114 kills.
