Isabel Goyco, a senior from San Antonio, Texas, helped lead TWU Gymnastics to their 12th USA Gymnastics National Championship on Aril 9, 2022. The following day, on April 10, 2022, Goyco competed in the individual finals on the floor exercise. In her final performance as a Pioneer, Goyco scored a career high 9.950 to win her second floor individual national championship (after also winning last year). Her 9.950 tied the TWU program record for the highest indivudal score on floor. Goyco will graduate from TWU in May 2022 with a degree in biology and will be attending Medical School.Â
