Angie Arebalos, a former Richland Hills (Texas) High School star, went 10-17 at the plate to help the Pioneers to a 5-2 record in their seven games played during the week of Mar. 3-10, 2009. Five of her hits (two doubles and three home runs) were for extra bases. All three of her long balls came on Saturday, Mar. 7, in a doubleheader at WTAMU. She hit a solo home run in game one, a 7-6 TWU loss. In game two, she smacked a pair of two-run round trippers. Her last deep ball came in the top of the seventh inning and helped TWU to a 7-6 win over the Lady Buffs.
