Senior middle blocker Danielle Pegues helped the TWU volleyball team to a 4-1 record last week with a team-high 40 kills and 45.5 points.  She played in all 17 of the Pioneers' sets during the week and posted a .228 hitting percentage.  Pegues also added 11 block assists and 10 digs on the defense.  Against Texas Wesleyan on Wednesday, Sept. 9, she had a team-high eight kills and .412 hitting percentage.  Pegues posted six or more kills in all five games including 10 against Oklahoma Panhandle State at Tarleton TexAnn Invitational on Friday, Sept. 11.
