Sophomore guard Jessica Hanna was named the MVP of the Hilltopper New Years Classic after averaging 16.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 4.0 steals in her two games played. Hanna helped the Pioneers to a 2-0 record in the four-team tournament with 10 points and six steals against host St. Edward’s and 22 points and 10 rebounds against Texas A&M International. For the season, Hanna leads the Pioneers in scoring with 13.2 points per game.
