Texas Woman's University Athletics

TWU sophomore shortstop Bailey Vrazel was named the 2012 Lone Star Conference Fred Jacoby Female Academic Athlete of the Year.  She is the first TWU student-athlete to receive this prestigious honor. The nominees for the Jacoby award include the Academic Player of the Year in each LSC-sponsored sport. The award is named for the late Fred Jacoby, the long-time LSC commissioner who passed away in March 2008.
