Texas Woman's University Athletics

In his first year Hood helped lead the Pioneers to win the 2018 USA Gymnastics Collegiate National Championship as well as coaching Schyler Jones to the NCAA Regional competition on Vault and seven gymnasts to 12 USA Gymnastics All-American awards.
 
Hood joined the Pioneers from the University of Central Florida where he was a member of the two-time World Champion Cheer Team. The four-year letterman also led the squad to a European Open Championship and a National Champion runner-up finish on three occasions.
 
Hood served as the Women's Team Coach and Women's Recreational Program Director for six years where he trained and mentored new staff, held various coaching positions at multiple levels, oversaw the developmental program, led various recreational programs, and kept up with facility maintenance and improvements.
