The 103 points is the most scored by TWU since the 2013-14 season when the Pioneers hung 107 on Texas A&M-Kingsville in a five-point win, and is the second-highest output in a game involving two LSC opponents this season. Saygo was one point shy of tying her career-high and pulled down a game-high eight rebounds. Saygo has now eclipsed the 30-point threshold three times within the last eight games.
Alexis Nezianya logged 16 points and five blocks in 16 minutes,
Grace Mitchell scored 16, and
Bri'anna Gray tied a career-high with seven rebounds to go along with nine points.

CU scored within the first 10 seconds of the second half to give them their largest lead of the night at 62-37 and again at 64-39. Saygo converted a three-point play at the 7:52 mark to begin a staggering 22-0 TWU run capped by a Saygo three-pointer to pull the Pioneers to within 66-63 with just over three minutes remaining in the quarter.
Â
CU jumped ahead 71-63 before a three by
Andrea Mapua and bucket by Saygo cut the deficit to three. Mitchell knocked down a free throw and
Deja Pointer hit a layup to tie the contest at 71-71 heading into the final quarter.
Â
Pointer scored again in the paint to hand TWU its first lead of the night at 73-71. With less than seven minutes to play and the game knotted at 81-81,
Desiree Phipps nailed a shot from deep to begin a 12-0 Pioneer run punctuated by an
Emily Spector jumper for a 96-81 lead with three minutes to play. A score in the lane by Mitchell handed TWU its largest lead of the night, 99-83, and the 13-point victory completed a 38-point swing in favor of the Pioneers within the last 20 minutes of the contest.
