Haley Ward scored a pair of goals for Texas Woman's University in a 3-2 loss at Texas A&M-Commerce Wednesday at Lion Soccer Field.

Ward notched the second goal of her TWU career in the 34
th minute by running past the Lion defense and sending a shot into the left side of the net for a 1-0 Pioneer advantage.

TAMUC (5-1-2, 2-1-0 LSC) countered seven minutes into the second half on a free kick from 20 yards out to tie the contest at 1-1. The Lions took the lead six minutes later on a cross from the left for a 2-1 A&M-Commerce lead.

In the 79
th minute, the Lions launched in a shot from the left side into the right side of the goal for a 3-1 lead. With 37 seconds remaining, Ward sent a shot in from the right side to close the score to within 3-2.
