ASU clinched its second consecutive LSC title with a 16-4 mark in LSC play this season and have won 13 of their past 14 contests. Marquita Daniels ranks second in the league in assists per game (3.4), and third in both scoring (14.9) and field goal percentage (.467). De'Anire Moore is first in blocks per contest (3.2) and sits third in rebounds (9.5).

History between TWU and ASU
The Belles lead the all-time series over the Pioneers, 38-22, dating to the 1987-88 season. ASU has taken the past five matchups over the Pioneers, while the most recent TWU win over ASU occurred during the final homestand of the 2015-16 season. The Belles are 3-1 over the Pioneers in the LSC tournament with ASU taking wins in 1991, 1994, 2006 and 2016. The lone TWU win over the Belles in the tournament occurred in 1990.

Whitney Apari recorded a career-high 21 points, including 17 in the second half, for Texas Woman's University, but a late second quarter run by Angelo State doomed the Pioneers in a 73-64 loss Saturday inside Stephens Arena.
Alexis Nezianya joined Apari in double digits with 11 points, and
Ajine Taylor scored a career-best eight. The Pioneers (7-11, 4-8 LSC) were outrebounded 44-to-28 while the Belles (14-1, 9-3 LSC) collected 18 second chance points and 16 off of turnovers compared to six and two, respectively, for TWU.
