FOLLOW IT LIVE
  • Live audio, video, and statistics are available at www.twuathletics.com. The Lone Star Conference has adopted a pay-per-view model for webstreaming this year, where fans will be able to purchase a $10 daily pass that will give them access to all football, volleyball, and basketball contests on the network for the day, as well as previously-aired games from the current season for a 24 hour period. Fans will have the option to purchase and download games from the 2020-21 season for $10 each.
FIVE THINGS TO KNOW
  • JUST STAY HOME - Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, no fans will be permitted at TWU athletic events until further notice.
  • DAILY DOUBLE - Last time out, senior forward Kam Daily reached double figures in scoring for the first time in her career, scoring a career-high 12 points in the season opener against Texas A&M International.
  • MA'K'ING HER WAY UP THE CAREER CHARTS - Senior forward Ma'K'La Woods entered the season with 607 career points, needing to score 53 points to pass Ria Pateraki, who played at TWU from 2012-15 to move into the top-25 in all-time points scored at TWU. With five points in her first game this season, Woods is 48 points away from passing Pateraki.
  • THE ALL-TIME SERIES - TWU and Midwestern State have met a total of 64 times (by our records, anyway) with the Mustangs holding an all-time 42-22 advantage in the all-time series. MSU is 22-10 all-time in Denton, however, the series has been a relatively even one since the 2013-14 season - MSU holds a 7-6 edge in that time. The Pioneers won last year's battle 68-59 in Denton.
  • CHASING 200 - Pioneers head coach Beth Jillson, in her 13th season at TWU, is the winningest coach in program history with 187 career wins - 113 ahead of the second-highest total. She sits 13 wins away from 200 for her career entering the season.
