COMMERCE, Texas -

Trixie Oche hit .429 in a seven-kill effort, but the Texas Woman's University volleyball team (8-16, 3-10 Lone Star Conference) fell short in a 3-0 loss to Texas A&M-Commerce (12-8, 10-4) on Saturday.
"Our team did a good job today from the service line and in system," said head coach
Jeff Huebner. "We got a good boost from Liz Ugbaja off the bench while Trixie and Bailey (Wozniak) continue to play very well. We are excited about our seniors and senior Saturday to honor some truly incredible people. Looking forward to a packed house to celebrate with!"
The Lions edged TWU 26-24 in the opening set and followed with 25-19 and 25-15 wins in sets two and three.
After TAMUC pulled out to a 5-1 advantage in the opening set, TWU slowly but surely chipped away at the advantage, but could not get ahead until the late portion of the set.
