TRIPLE THREAT
- KEY TAKEAWAYS: TWU's opponents are averaging 19.4 turnovers per game. The Lions currently only average 14.4 turnovers per game. The Pioneers will look to deploy their lockdown defense to force the Lions into turnovers and poor shot selection.
- STUDDED STAT GETTERS: The Pioneers have a diversified group of scorers, meaning more than one Pioneer can go out and get buckets on any given night. Three Pioneers are averaging eight or more points per game: Sadie Moyer (15.9), Keslyn King (9.1) and Ashley Ingram (8.4).
- MAKE IT RAIN: The Pioneers currently lead the Lone Star Conference in 3-Point Field Goal Percentage, shooting an average of 35% from behind the arc in their eight games. Texas A&M – Commerce sits in eighth place, averaging 30.7% from the three.
DON'T FORGET THE DEFENSE
- TOP 50: Across eight games, the Pioneers are currently holding their opponents to shooting just 34.6% from the field, which ranks No. 42 in the nation and No. 3 in the LSC. The Lions currently average 42.1% from the field, so the Pioneers will need to defend well to get the win.
