DENTON, Texas (Oct. 18, 2026) - The Texas Woman's soccer team recorded their second draw of the season Saturday night, playing to a scoreless tie against UT Dallas at Pioneer Soccer Park. The result marked the Pioneers' second consecutive draw following a 1-1 tie against No. 1 DBU on Wednesday.
The Pioneers (13-1-2, 9-1-2) and Comets (8-3-4, 4-3-4) played to a draw for the second time in their two-match all-time series. The result marked TWU's second draw of the season and the Comets' fourth.
TWU outshot UTD 20-6, including a 9-2 advantage in shots on goal, and held a narrow 6-5 edge in corner kicks. Goalkeeper Faith Graves recorded two saves to help keep the Pioneers in the match, while the TWU offense was unable to find the back of the net despite several scoring opportunities. UTD's goalkeeper finished with nine saves.

FROM HEAD COACH BABAK ABOUZAR
"A frustrating result. Credit to UTD and their goalkeeper for coming up with some really nice saves. However, at the end of the day, we have to execute in the final third, and we lacked that tonight. Finishing isn't easy to do. With that being said, we know we have special players on our team who have proven they can put the ball in the back of the net. We'll learn from this and get ready for an LCU team that is going to test us Wednesday."
