DENTON, Texas (March 10, 2026) - For the third straight season, the Texas Woman's basketball team claimed the No. 1 Seed in the NCAA Division II South Central Regional Tournament. As the No. 1 Seed, the Pioneers will host the Regional Tournament March 13-14, 16 in Kitty Magee Arena. 

The Pioneers claimed the No. 1 spot in the tournament and received the honor of hosting. TWU will meet the No. 8 Seed Eastern New Mexico in the quarterfinal round on Friday, March 13 at 5 p.m.

All games will be played in Kitty Magee Arena. The quarterfinals will begin on Friday, March 13 with games at 12 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The semifinals will take place on Saturday, March 14 at 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Then, the championship will be played on Monday, March 16 at 7 p.m.

Tickets for each day are available for purchase here. Tickets will be sold online only - no cash will be accepted at the doors. Tickets can be purchased for each day, $10 for general admission and $8 for youth/student/senior general admission. Please be aware that TWU does have a Clear Bag Policy.
