PIONEERS TAKE ONE FROM NO. 7 ANGELO STATE IN DOUBLEHEADER SPLIT

SAN ANGELO, Texas (March 9, 2026) - The Texas Woman's softball team (9-11, 7-5) picked up a big road win Sunday, splitting a doubleheader against No. 7 Angelo State (22-5, 11-1). The Pioneers edged the Rambelles 1-0 in game one before dropping the second contest 8-3.

TWU's win in the opener featured a complete game shutout from Randi Crawford and a key solo home run from Hawwa Townsend that broke the tie in the seventh inning.
