Biography
AS A JUNIOR (2024)
In her third season with the Pioneers, Klein ParedesĀ helped lead the Pioneers to a historic finish at the 2024 U.S. Collegiate National Championships, as TWU placed third overall ā their highest finish in program history. At U.S. Collegiates, she swam team with Ada Monteys Vinardell, Haiden Long, Anaya Kashikar, Eva Fernández Montenegro-Serrano and Maria Fernández Montenegro-Serrano, placing seventh. To start her junior season against Stanford on Jan. 22, she swam team and placed second. Then, on Jan. 26, against Wheaton, Klein Paredes swam trio with Anaya Kashikar and Haiden Long to place second. She also swam team and claimed the team title to help guide the Pioneers to the dual win over Wheaton. In the Pioneersā win over Ohio State on Feb. 12, Klein Paredes placed second in trio with Kashikar and Long and also finished first in team. She claimed seventh in trio and sixth place in team at the MPSF Championships on Feb. 19. Finally, after U.S. Collegiate National Championships, Klein Paredes was named to the 2024 MPSF All-Academic Team.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2023)
Klein Paredes placed fourthĀ for the Pioneers to start off her sophomore campaign in the trio competition with a score of 68.3500 points on Feb. 4 at the Jessica Beck Memorial Competition against Ohio State and Michigan. She contributed to third place finishes for TWU at the South Zone Regional Collegiate Championships and Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships, after competing in the A Competitions and trios in each meet. Klein Paredes helped guide the team to a fourth place finish in the U.S. Collegiate Nationals and was named to the 2023 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Academic Team.
AS A FRESHMAN (2022)
Competed in the inaugural season of TWU Artistic Swimming. Named to the USAAS All-Collegiate Team. Made her debut at the TWU Tri-Meet against Stanford and UIW on January 28-29. Competed in B Technical Figures, trio and team eventsĀ this season. In B technical, she scored a season-high 68.1735 at the U.S. Collegiate National Championship, placing 20th. Also, she scored a season-high 76.9333 in the trio (with Anaya Kashikar and Regina Ramirez) in the preliminary round at the U.S. Collegiate National Championship. In the final round, Klein and her trio scored a 76.1000 to place fifth in the nation.Ā She also helped lead the team to a fifth-place team swim in the final round at the 2022 U.S. Collegiate National Championship and a fourth-place overall finish.Ā
PRIOR TO TWU
Attended Descartes Gymnasium in Germany. She swam competitively for twelve years. Klein Paredes won the South German Championship in the Duet Category. and won the German Championship in the Team Category. She swam for Club Natació Calella and TSV Neuburg (Donaunixen).
