2009: Appeared in 13 matches while making three starts...third on the team in assists with 84...also added eight service aces and 39 digs...recoreded a season-high 21 assists against Southwestern Oklahoma on Oct. 22....earned Lone Star Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll honors.

2008: Played in 11 matches while making five starts...third on the team in assists with 128 and second in assists per set with 4.41...also recorded 28 digs and five service aces...recorded 10-plus assists in six matches...had a season-high 26 assists against Texas Wesleyan on Sept. 6.

2007: Started four matches and played in 32 games…finished second on the TWU roster with 236 assists…also collected eight kills, eight service aces, 49 digs and seven block assists…recorded a TWU career-high 66 assists (on 75 attempts) in a five-game loss to Ouachita Baptist on Sept. 8…had 30 or more assists in three matches…tallied a career-high 13 digs in a five-game win vs. Eastern New Mexico on Oct. 13.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played three years of varsity volleyball for Windthorst (Texas) High School...won three UIL Class A State Championships (2004, 2005, 2006)...in 2006, she was a UIL Class A first-team All-State selection and a member of the TGCA (Texas Girls Coaching Association) All-State team...was chosen, as both a junior and senior, as the All-District 6A setter...also lettered in basketball, cheerleading, softball, and track in high school...played volleyball for the Red River and TVC Volleyball clubs...was an honor student at Windthorst, a member of the National Honor Society, and selected for many Academic All-District 6A teams.

PERSONAL: Sydney Paige was born on July 18, 1989 and is the daughter of Charles and Mitzi Veitenheimer...older sister Danielle was a member of the TWU volleyball team from 2007-09...majoring in fashion merchandising...hobbies include golf, tennis, snow skiing, and sewing...active in the St. Mary’s Catholic Church Youth Group and the JCDA.
