PRIOR TO TWU: Played three years at Northwestern State...averaged 8.7 points and 3.1 rebounds while shooting 51.3 percent from the three-point range in 09-10...named the 2009 Southland Conference All-Academic First Team and SLC Commissioner’s Honor Roll...graduated with her bachelor’s degree in three years.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2007 graduate of Argyle High School...averaged 23 points and ranked first in the state in free throws and three-point shooting her senior year...2006 and 2007 All-State selection...2007 District MVP and two-time district Defensive MVP (2005 and 2006)...also named 2005 District Newcomer of the Year...National Honor Society.

PERSONAL: Born February 14, 1989…the daughter of Burton and Brenda Shepherd…has two brothers, William Burton and Brett...pursuing her master’s degree in sport coaching.
