Senior Brittany Parker (pictured) has been chosen as this week's TWU Gymnastics Pioneer of the Week (P.O.W.). Parker is a native of Aurora, Colorado and a product of the Colorado Gymnastics Institute.

Parker was chosen by the TWU coaching staff as the P.O.W. for numerous reasons. In the gym, she has stepped up her skill-level and is improving both the consistency and technical aspects of all her skills. Out of gym, she has been active in the TWU Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), the TWU Leadership Institute, and the TWU Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

"Brittany is really embracing her role as a senior leader on this team," stated TWU gymnastics assistant coach Lisa Klein. "We've really been pleased with the example she has set for the rest of our squad."
