Junior Caroline Hilpisch from Stillwater, MN, has been selected as the Pioneer of the Week for the week of Sunday, Nov. 1 – Saturday, Nov. 7.

Hilpisch has continued to work hard on every event and is showing vast improvements from day to day and week to week. She has not competed on bars thus far in her Pioneer career and has shown great progress on bars in practice. Hilpisch is showing promise as a possible competitor on this event during the 2010 season.

“Caroline has an attitude that is absolutely unmatched,” said assistant coach Lisa Klein. “She stands out above the rest in her constant desire to improve and in the positive attitude that she brings to the gym every single day. She has already accomplished great things as a Pioneer gymnast and we are excited to see her persistent hard work pay off in the upcoming season!”
