Freshman Rashonda Cannie (pictured) was selected as the Pioneer of the Week (P.O.W.) for the week of Feb. 21-27, 2009.

Cannie earned the POW distinction after setting a new TWU school-record of 38.975 in the all-around in the Pioneers' quad meet on Friday, Feb. 27, versus N.C. State, Centenary, and Wisconsin-Whitewater.
