Junior Keri Miller has been selected as the Pioneer of the Week for the week of Saturday, Mar. 14 - Friday, Mar. 20, 2009.

Miller's P.O.W. selection is due in large part to her outstanding attitude and persistent work ethic. TWU head coach Frank Kudlac also praised the Richardson, Texas native for her leadership during the Pioneers' extended training during the Spring Break week. 

"Keri shows up every day willing to do whatever it takes to get better," explained Kudlac. "She's an emotional and vocal leader of this team. Her positive energy, attitude, and enthusiasm on a day-to-day basis are invaluable to our success."
