Hello There!

Well, we’ve made it to New Haven, Connecticut after a long day of traveling! Our plane ride was three and a half hours long, and a lot of us tried to catch up on some sleep, but also had enough time to get started on some homework for the week as well. 

We are excited to be here finally for the national championships and waiting to see what this week has in store for us here on the East Coast, because we always try to make the best of our times together! It was also exciting when we first got here because one of our freshmen, Rashonda, got to see her dad at the airport for the first time in a couple of years! 

Being here is making me a bit anxious because I am a huge Red Sox fan, and according to our bus driver, we are about a two hour drive away from Boston and it’s so exciting! But I always love traveling to New England because it has such an historical air to it. 

Anyways, to sum it all up, after a fun day of traveling together, we are ready to get this show on the road! We just all want the meet to come because we can’t wait to compete together this weekend! As always, we appreciate the send off we got from all of our friends, family, and fans today! We couldn’t do it without our support system, even if they’re not in Texas! Make sure you keep up-to-date with our adventures for the week!!
