Freshman Sara Grunert from Woodridge, Illinois was selected by the TWU coaches as the first Pioneer of the Week of the Fall 09 semester.  In the short amount of time she has been in training with the Pioneers, Grunert has caught the eyes of her coaches and teammates as a hard worker, displaying a very consistent positive attitude and completing her assignments near or at the top of her assigned task.

She came to the program in great physical condition thanks to the training she received at her former gym, IGI and her coach, Mr. Todd Gardiner.

Sara, a member of the TWU Honors scholar program, is the first TWU Gymnastics, Pioneer of the week for Fall 09!
