Freshman Courtney Cochefski has been selected as the Pioneer of the Week for the week of October 4-10.

"We chose Courtney for making a difficult decision to redshirt her first season after an ACL surgery and her positive attitude," said TWU assistant coach Lisa Bowerman.  "Courtney is one of the most positive people that we know! She has not let her surgery and her inability to compete this year affect her positive attitude in anyway. She has maintained her optimistic outlook and has talked only of how excited she is to start her rehab and to be healthy again. She has also been excited to help her teammates this year in any way that she can!  Overall she has proven to be a great example! She is certainly a great asset to this team and we are very lucky to have her as a part of our Pioneer family!"
