Senior Caroline Hilpisch has been selected as the Pioneer of the Week for the week of September 13-19.

"Caroline was given this award because she has been standing out to the coaches in many ways," said TWU assistant coach Lisa Bowerman.  "Caroline came in this fall in great shape with a lot of great new skills in the gym! She has proven that she worked very hard this summer to make her senior season her best! She has continued to work hard every single day, and has already shown even more improvements just in the short time that we’ve been back in practice this year!"

"She is also proving herself to be a strong leader for this team through her hard work and being positive. In addition to always leading by example, she is also becoming one of our vocal leaders in the gym, and has helped to guide this young team throughout the first few weeks of the school year! She will certainly be an integral part of our team’s success in 2011!" said Bowerman.
