Sophomore Margaret Mayfield has been selected as the Pioneer of the Week for the week of Nov. 28-Dec. 4, 2011.

"Margaret has really impressed us with her consistent hard work and her willingness to make corrections and try new things," said TWU head coach Lisa Bowerman.  "We know that every day Margaret will come into the gym with a great attitude and ready to work hard!  She has been a great leader for our freshmen as well, helping them to adjust to their new responsibilites and roles on the team."

"In addition to her hard work in the gym she continues to work hard on her own school work as well as helping fellow classmates and teammates through tutoring," Bowerman said.  "She is a very hard worker and a great example of a true student-athlete."
