Sophomore Courtney Cochefski has been selected as the first Pioneer of the Week.

"After being out due to an ACL surgery last year, Courtney has come back stronger than ever," said TWU head coach Lisa Bowerman.  "It is evident to all of the coaches that she worked extremely hard over the summer on her gymnastics as well as her strength and fitness. She has an outstanding attitude every single day in the gym and she truly sets an example for all of her teammates and coaches to follow! She has never let adversity get her down and that perseverance is admirable! We are so proud of Courtney and looking forward to a great year from her!"
