Hi there Pioneer fans! Kayla Jones here again with some exciting news from this weekend! Not only did we host a quad meet this past Saturday but it was Senior Night for Marcella Fallon, Rashonda Cannie, Kristie Costa, and Chaynade Knowles. It was a bittersweet moment for them and it is safe to say we will all miss watching them perform and shine in Kitty Magee Arena. On top of that we had our own TWU gymnastics alumni who came back to be honored and support their fellow Pioneers, of course! It was amazing to meet the ladies that started it all. The only reason we are able to do what we do is because of the path they paved for us. The icing on the cake Saturday night was getting a team high score for the year! It is so amazing to have all of our hard work during the week pay off when it’s time for us to go out there and compete! We definitely could not do it without all of the support from our family, friends, and of course fans! So keep up the good work Pioneer fans and we can’t wait to continue making history for you guys!
