Junior Kristin Edwards has been selected as the Pioneer of the Week for the week of Mar. 8-20, 2012.

"Kristin has really stepped up for her team these past few weeks, and we could not be more proud of her," said head coach Lisa Bowerman.  "She has really put in the effort to train smarter and more consistently in the gym, and the result has been even greater success in the competition arena!  Kristin is a natural-born leader, and we have seen her using that leadership ability in a positive way to help this team reach our goals.  We are very proud of all that she has already accomplished both in the gym and also in the classroom, and we know that there is so much more to come!"
