Hello Pioneer Gymnastics Fans!!!
Hi again! This is Paisley Read, with my second post of this year. I am going to tell you a little bit about this past week and about the exciting things we have coming in the future.
Last week was MIC’s and we did pretty well! We were close to our high team score of this year. It was a big meet, but we now have a couple of weeks to work even harder and focus on nationals. This means that we can polish up our routines so we are ready to go when the time comes. The coaches planned a light week for us this week so we could take a little break and rest our bodies; this was also a good time for us to work on the small details that we need to fix to help us reach our end of season goals. This week was great! The energy in the gym was awesome and everyone was working so hard to make every skill perfect! We will continue to work on these changes in the next couple weeks, and this will make our gymnastics that much better come time for nationals. I can’t wait to see all of the hard work pay off!
Also if you haven’t heard our exciting news, we had three of our amazing gymnasts, Kayla Jones, Courtney Cochefski, and Rashonda Cannie, qualify NCAA Regional’s, which are to be held next weekend in Illinois. Spencer Jones also made alternate for the all-around. We are so proud of these ladies, they are such hard workers in the gym and they really deserve this great accomplishment!
That’s all I have for you, this time. Be sure to check back for the results from our regional competitors as well as how our next couple weeks before nationals are going. We really have an amazing team, and I love being a part of it! We also have some really awesome fans! Thanks for all of your continued support! Until next time...
WE FIGHT!
