June 23, 2022 - Jo Kuhn: A True PioneerÂ
Jo Kuhn, former assistant professor, coach and athletic director at TWU, championed the fight for women's athletics from various platforms. She advocated for women in Denton, Texas, on the campus of TWU and on national stages. Hear her story, in her own words, of navigating spaces filled by men and fighting for women athletics.Â

Kaia Saylor, a junior Pioneer volleyball player, shares her experiences of discrimination and empowerment through sports. Kaia shares that because she has been empowered by others, she utilizes her platform to empower women to pursue greatness.
July 16, 2022 - Kaylee Smith: The Meaning of Sports
Kaylee Smith, a sophomore Pioneer soccer player, shares her passion for the sport of soccer. Because of the support of her parents and those who fought for Title IX, she has had the opportunity to pursue her dreams. Through her story, she hopes to inspire others to fight for their dreams.
July 23, 2022 - Anaya Kashikar: Accept Others, Be Empathetic and Celebrate Everyone
Anaya Kashikar, a sophomore artistic swimmer at TWU, has been empowered to celebrate her uniqueness and push past boundaries by her her involvement in sports. She hopes to use her platform as an athlete to push the messages of acceptance, empathy and celebration.

August 28, 2022 - Kylee Spearman: Girls Wrestle Too
Kylee Spearman, a freshman TWU wrestler, became a wrestler her freshman year of high school. Because of Title IX, she was able to participate and be lead by a female coach. Often people are shocked when they learn Kylee wrestles, because it's a "boys" sport. One day, Kylee wants to be a coach, so she can continue to impart confidence into the next generation of women wrestlers.
