Carla Reyes-Campero

Carla Reyes-Campero joined the Pioneers in 2023. She helped guide the Pioneers to thier historical third place finish in 2023 at US Collegiate Nationals. She started her career as a speed swimmer when she was nine years old. Then, when she was nine years old, she moved from Mexico to Texas, where she joined the Pirouettes of Texas Artistic Swimming Team – one of the longest running teams in all of the US. While swimming with the Pirouettes, Reyes-Campero participated in regional and national competitions all over the nation. She secured six consecutive gold medals at regionals in duet and podiumed three times at the Junior Olympic Championships.

After graduating from high school, she spent a year doing mission work in Spain. During her year in Spain, she provided development, coaching and guidance to young women from 10-years-old to 18-years-old.
Then, her academic journey took her to Texas Christian University, where she earned her bachelor's degree in business administration with a focus on international marketing. During her time at TCU, she also spent a semester abroad in Belgium.

For the past three years, she has worked with Dell Technologies with their Global E-Commerce Team as a product lead for Dell.com experience. She joined the Pioneers last season and said she enjoys inspiring the student-athletes in and out of the pool.
