Biography
AS A JUNIOR (2024)
In her third season with the Pioneers, Long helped lead the Pioneers to a historic finish at the 2024 U.S. Collegiate National Championships, as TWU placed third overall – their highest finish in program history. At the competition, Long swam team with Ada Monteys Vinardell, Laura Klein Parades, Anaya Kashikar, Eva Fernández Montenegro-Serrano and Maria Fernández Montenegro-Serrano, placing seventh. In the Pioneers’ opening meet against Stanford on Jan. 22, Long swam team and placed second. Long also swam team against Wheaton on Jan. 29. The team routine placed first, as the Pioneers dominated Wheaton. Long also swam trio against Wheaton with Kashikar and Klein Paredes and finished second. She also swam trio and placed first against Ohio State on Feb. 12, as the Pioneers defeated Ohio State. With team, Long also placed first. At the MPSF Championship on Feb. 19, Long and the trio placed seventh and the team routine finished sixth. TWU placed third overall at the MPSF Championships.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2023)
Long started off her sophomore campaign for the Pioneers in the trio competition where she was a part of a meet high 72.1000 points in their opener against Wheaton College (Mass.) on Jan. 28, while contributing to a new program high team score of 77.6000. She recorded a season high in trios with a score of 73.5750 at the Jessica Beck Memorial Competition versus Ohio State and Michigan to place third. Long missed the second half of the season due to injury.
AS A FRESHMAN (2022)
Competed in the inagurual season of TWU Artistic Swim. Competed in B Technical Figures, trio, team and made one appearance in the solo competition. Made her debut at the TWU Tri-Meet against Stanford and UIW on January 28-29, 2022. Scored a season-high 67.7355 in B Technical at the TWU Tri-Meet on January 29. She hit the 67 mark again at the U.S. Collegiate National Championship on March 26, scoring a 67.1633 to place 24th overall. In the trio, she swam with Makayla Crichton and Maribella Falconer. They scored their season-high twice at the U.S. Collegiate National Championship, scoring a 75.6333 in the preliminary and final round. On March 27, in the final round, they place sixth overall. In her lone freshman solo debut at the MPSF Championship on February 12, she scored a 70.0000. She also helped lead the team to a fifth-place team swim in the final round at the 2022 U.S. Collegiate National Championship and a fourth-place overall finish.
PRIOR TO TWU
Attended iUniversity Prep. She swam competitively for 13 years, and her team placed first at the Junior Olympics in 2019 and 2021. She placed third in solo at the Junior Olympics in 2019. She placed third in duet at the Junior Olympics in 2019 and second in duet at the Junior Olympics in 2021, and her combo won first at the Junior Olympics in 2021. Her duet placed second at the US Nationals in 2021. She competed with her club team, Pirouettes of Texas.
