AS A SOPHOMORE (2022-23)
In his second year with the Pioneers, Tapia received a share in TWU’s historic 2023 National Dance Alliance (NDA) performance in Daytona Beach, Florida, where the Pioneer Pride placed third in the Spirit Rally routine and fourth in the Pom routine with a score of 93.5429, their highest score in history. He also helped the Pioneers earn a bid to the 2024 NDA College Nationals this past summer at the 2023 NDA Camp.

PRIOR TO TWU
Juan Tapia, from Dallas, Texas, graduated from Sunset High School, where he was a member of the dance company for three years and a member of the drill team for three years. He is majoring in Kinesiology at TWU.
