Biography

In her third year with the Pioneers, Tapia received a share in TWU’s historic 2023 National Dance Alliance (NDA) performance in Daytona Beach, Florida, where the Pioneer Pride placed third in the Spirit Rally routine and fourth in the Pom routine with a score of 93.5429, their highest score in history. She also helped the Pioneers earn a bid to the 2024 NDA College Nationals this past summer at the 2023 NDA Camp.

Treu was named 2022 NDA All-American and was a member of the historical Pioneer Pride team that placed in the jazz category at NDA for the first time in program history. 

PRIOR TO TWU
Began competitive dance at the age of 15... was a competitive swimmer for six years... took part in the TAGS state championships for swimming... attended the Joffrey Ballet School. While in High School, Treu was a competitive dance studio apprentice for one year and competed for three years as a full member. During her time as a competitor, she won first overall High Point Senior Soloist and Regional Title Winner at Odyssey. She was the first overall Senior Soloist at Showstopper and Crystal Award. Treu also performed at the NDH Orlando Nationals as a crew member and with the Adrenaline Regional City Crew.
